Angal St Luke Hospital is a 220-bed general rural hospital. It is a Private Not for Profit institution belonging to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Nebbi (Registered Trustees of Nebbi Catholic Diocese). The vision of the hospital is ‘All human beings are entitled to access health care services and receive support and care in their sufferings” while its mission is “To offer quality and sustainable health services, in accordance to the standing national and catholic health policies for a general hospital.”

However, many patients access the Hospital from a wider area and it may be stated that its actual catchment area population reaches 312,464 people.
